Missions

The essential mission of the church is the proclamation

of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world, so that

all persons may be led to acknowledge Him as their Savior

and Lord, and be incorporated into the church.

Our vision enables the Gospel to be spread worldwide.

We actively send and support over 42 missionaries around

the globe. Our special programs include a "partners in missions" support group, missions conferences and summer missions trips.

• The Missions Committee, the Senior Pastor and the deacon board, give direction to the missions program.

• Evening prayer meeting on the third Wednesday of each month is devoted to missions.

• Missionary of the month - a missionary is highlighted in the bulletin, poster in the foyer and in prayer.

• Financial support to over thirty missionaries and missions.

• Partners In Missions meets the last Tuesday of each month. They organize the Missionary cupboard - a collection of articles useful to missionaries. Send regular, personal correspondence to each missionary, and cards for special occasions. Pray regularly for each missionary. Give toward missionary special needs. Update posters on each missionary and ministry for display to the congregation.

Short-term missions support is awarded each year to a few of our young people participating in a missions experience lasting a year or less.
