Giving FAQs

Did the Giving Platform Recently Change?

Yes. We formerly used Fellowship One for online donations. As of 2024, we now utilize Church Center/Stripe for online donations. If you have recurring donations set up with Fellowship One, please log in, discontinue those donations, and create a new donation plan with Church Center/Stripe. You can log in to the old giving platform by clicking the button below. For step by step instructions click HERE.

Giving Security

In many ways giving online is safer than writing a check because an electronic gift cannot be lost or stolen. The security of the system is continually managed by Church Center.

Online giving is a safe and easy way to support the ministries of Linworth Baptist Church. This system enables you to support the church by making a one-time contribution or establishing a recurring contribution.

Your information is held securely through Church Center. This information will remain private and will never be given away to third parties, other than to process your scheduled contributions.

You have the option to give without creating an account. However, an account will be created automatically for you by Church Center. Your account log in will be emailed to you after you make an online donation. If you would like to view your contribution history you will have to log in to your account. You may also change your password at any time. If you forget your login id or password, you can have the system email it to you by entering the email address that you used when you created your account. Please help us keep your information safe by protecting your login information. Access to sensitive personal and financial information can be gained by letting someone else use your account or by leaving the information for someone else to see. Linworth Baptist Church will never call you to ask for your login information.

From what type of bank accounts can I give?

You can give online from your checking account or with your MasterCard, Visa, or Discover.

Are there any fees involved with giving online?

Not to you. The church pays a $0.30 fee plus a 2.15% charge based on the amount given each credit card transaction - we encourage those who give to do so via an ACH donation, which results in only a $0.30 fee no matter the amount given. (The best way to avoid fees altogether is to handwrite a check and place it in the offering collection box.)

Can I make a one-time contribution?

Yes. The system allows you the option of either making a one-time contribution or setting up a recurring contribution. For a one-time contribution, you can designate that the contribution should be made immediately or, for both one-time and recurring contributions, you can schedule the contributions to come out of your bank account on the date(s) specified by you.

If I want to set-up a recurring donation, what are my options for frequency of my gift?

If you would like to have this donation charged to your card automatically every month, please select the day of the month you would like this amount to be charged.

Can I change my personal information once I have set it up?

Yes. Simply log in and make the necessary changes.

Can I change my the amount or the frequency of my recurring donation once I have set it up?

Yes. You can cancel or change reoccurring giving in your own account.

Can I review my donation history online?

Yes. The site will allow you to view the complete history of your contributions, given either online or otherwise. Once you’ve created an account, you will able to contribute immediately. However, for security purposes, before you can see any past contributions, we must manually connect your online account with your previous information. This is a one-time process when you initially create your account. After that, you can view your history at any time.

Will I automatically receive year-end contribution statements from the church?

Not automatically. If you'd like to receive a giving statement, simply contact  to request your statement.

When will contributions be taken from my account?

Contributions will be taken from your specified bank account within 48 business hours of the date you requested. This time frame allows time for the contribution to process through your bank and the church’s bank. If the date of your contribution falls on a weekend or a holiday, the transaction will be initiated on the next banking day.

Can I designate my gift to a particular cause?

Yes, you can designate your gift to go toward tithes and offerings, Building Fund, or special missions trips/projects. We may also add additional causes at specific times, such as the year-end Harvest Offering.

How will I know that I set up my gift correctly?

Immediately after submitting your contribution, you will receive an email verifying your contribution.

What are the giving/refund policies?

You can schedule new contributions at any time and can modify or cancel those contributions at any time prior to the date they are scheduled. Once the contribution has been processed, however, it cannot be cancelled. There are no refunds, returns, or cancellations on donations made.

I have additional questions about online giving that have not been addressed. Who can I talk to?

For any questions, concerns, or comments about the online giving system, please contact Ed Montgomery or Cody Rostorfer. You can also email
