Disciple Now is an exciting opportunity to focus on discipleship and service within our church family. We kick the weekend off on Friday evening with a teaching session and games at the church. On Saturday, we'll spend time in God's Word together, do yard work to serve some of our older church members, and then end the night with a closing speaker. On Sunday, everyone will return to church for breakfast together.
This year, our focus will be on how the gospel addresses depression and anxiety. These are some of the most prevalent issues teenagers are dealing with today, but thankfully the Bible is not silent on these topics. We'll see from Scripture how the good news of Jesus gives us lasting hope and peace.
The high school students will spend the weekend in a host home of a family in our church, and middle school students will go home at the end of each night. If you have not done so already, please fill out the Medical Release and Transportation Waiver for this school year.
